Teaching has always been a passion for Dr. Cottin-Rack.  She started teaching in France in 1993 both as a private instructor and as a substitute teacher at the Issy les Moulineaux National School of Music. In the USA, she has taught at the College Conservatory of Music in the Preparatory Department and at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center in Cincinnati. She specialized in pedagogy during her doctoral studies in the form of a pedagogy cognate. She is also a registered Suzuki instructor.

In Stockton, Dr. Cottin-Rack has a private studio and teaches advanced violinists as well as young children. She teaches both traditional and Suzuki violin.

she is an adjunct faculty member of the San Joaquin Delta College Fine Arts Department in Stockton, where she teaches violin and the String Ensemble as well as at California State University Stanislaus in Turlock, where she teaches violin and chamber music.
